REQUIREMENTS

• ITI / Diploma in Plumbing / Mechanical or equivalent technical qualification
• 5–7 years’ experience in plumbing and drainage works
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, sanitary fixtures, valves, fittings, authority guidelines, and installation methods
• Sound knowledge in infrastructure storm water and water supply networks
• Experience in different types of piping systems including HDPE and GRP
• Experience in Industrial type projects
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage site productivity
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Basic computer literacy and able to use MS word and excel for daily reporting, material list and documentation
• IOSH safety certificate is recommended

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily plumbing activities across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Read, understand, and execute works as per approved shop drawings, coordination drawings, and specifications.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of plumbing and drainage systems (water supply, sewage, waste, pumps, water heaters, storm water, external networks, etc.).
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant local authority regulations.

• Lead and supervise plumbers, helpers, and assistants; assign tasks and monitor daily productivity.
• Ensure availability and efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment, control wastage.
• Report daily progress, delays, and site issues; assist during consultant/client inspections.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, fire and other trades to avoid clashes.
• Enforce HSE rules and ensure all team members follow safety procedures and PPE requirements and conduct toolbox talks.
