Demand Planning Manager

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Strong expertise in demand forecasting methodologies and statistical forecasting tools.
• Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and inventory management.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Expertise in leveraging advanced statistical software and machine learning techniques for demand forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to translate large datasets into actionable demand plans.
• Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and driving transformative planning projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Spearhead the development and oversight of demand forecasting and planning models using advanced analytics and AI-driven tools.
• Partner with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain stakeholders to synchronize demand planning strategies.
• Manage and mentor the MENAP demand planning staff to foster a high-performance team environment.
• Drive the collaborative planning process with key distributors to capture in-market intelligence.
• Lead demand planning for new product introductions, ensuring launch forecasts are accurately reflected in the regional S&OP cycle.
• Present demand insights and scenario analyses to executive leadership to support business growth.
