Senior Platform Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Proven production experience operating Kubernetes (specifically EKS) and managing stateful workloads (e.g., Kafka, RedPanda, Postgres, ClickHouse, or Flink).
• Strong expertise in Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Experience managing CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, load balancing, and microservices orchestration.
• Ability to design infrastructure for high-throughput, low-latency, and high-frequency data systems.

Preferred

• Experience working with crypto trading platforms, DeFi protocols, or on-chain infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Solana RPCs, indexing nodes, or validator management.
• Knowledge of data streaming or real-time analytics pipelines.
• Personal interest or experience in on-chain trading.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the platform migration from AWS-managed services to EKS-based workloads.
• Design and maintain high-availability, low-latency infrastructure with a focus on future portability to other providers.
• Manage cloud resources, load balancers, and containerized workloads to ensure cost efficiency and resilience.
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to ensure reproducible deployments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable releases.
• Own observability, monitoring, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog to improve uptime and latency.
