Content Writer & Staff Journalist

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• A journalism degree or equivalent — or a career track that proves you didn’t need one
• 1 to 5 years of experience in news, media, or editorial writing — print, digital, or broadcast background all considered
• Demonstrated ability to write fast, write clean, and write accurately under deadline pressure
• A genuine understanding of the Middle East business landscape — UAE media familiarity is a strong advantage
• Experience adapting PR and client content into editorial-grade copy without losing substance
• Strong command of English; Arabic language skills are a plus but not required
• Comfortable working across beats — business, technology, real estate, finance, and leadership
• SEO awareness and familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Produce 8 to 10 well-researched, publish-ready articles per day across editorial and client briefs.

Write 2 to 3 original journalism pieces — analysis, commentary, news stories, or business profiles — driven by your editorial instinct

Transform PR submissions, client briefs, and press releases into compelling, readable content that meets editorial standards

Monitor regional and global business news to identify story opportunities relevant to the Middle East market

Maintain consistent voice, accuracy, and SEO hygiene across all published pieces

Collaborate with the editorial and commercial teams to ensure content aligns with the Moguls ME brand voice.

Meet daily publishing targets without compromising on quality or factual accuracy.
