REQUIREMENTS

• Prior experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding standards.
• Experience working with EHR systems in outpatient or hospital environments; familiarity with hospital experience or Level I/II trauma centers is a plus.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as X-ray operation or medication administration are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient service while managing multiple administrative tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of inpatient care processes, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), Geriatrics, medical-surgical units, or internal medicine settings is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor to support diverse patient populations across various healthcare environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Collect and record vital signs, patient history, and current medications accurately to support clinical assessments.
• Prepare exam rooms, assist with minor procedures, and handle specimen collection or X-ray requests as needed.
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake forms, and follow-up communications efficiently.
• Support clinical staff with basic life support (BLS), medication administration, and understanding of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding and other medical records for billing and reporting purposes.
• Ensure a clean, organized environment adhering to infection control protocols in outpatient or inpatient settings, including trauma centers or surgical units.
