Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience in patient scheduling, medical front office, or intake coordination (telehealth experience preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — with a professional and empathetic tone.
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls in a healthcare or customer service setting.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced virtual environment.
  • Comfortable using EHR systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Spanish bilingual.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and manage the virtual waiting room throughout the shift.
  • Assign incoming patients to available or on-call providers based on coverage and specialty.
  • Schedule telehealth appointments for patients with available or on-call providers.
  • Assist providers with chart management and follow-up documentation as needed.
  • Respond to client and patient inquiries via phone and email regarding scheduling, documentation, and general support requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of all patient interactions and appointments in the EHR system.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely patient care and client satisfaction.
