Work Comp Intake Specialist – Bilingual
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in patient scheduling, medical front office, or intake coordination (telehealth experience preferred but not required).
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal — with a professional and empathetic tone.
- Experience handling inbound and outbound calls in a healthcare or customer service setting.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced virtual environment.
- Comfortable using EHR systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Teams.
- Spanish bilingual.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and manage the virtual waiting room throughout the shift.
- Assign incoming patients to available or on-call providers based on coverage and specialty.
- Schedule telehealth appointments for patients with available or on-call providers.
- Assist providers with chart management and follow-up documentation as needed.
- Respond to client and patient inquiries via phone and email regarding scheduling, documentation, and general support requests.
- Maintain accurate records of all patient interactions and appointments in the EHR system.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely patient care and client satisfaction.
