Backend Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of substantial coding experience with Golang, preferably in a product development setting
• Strong programming fundamentals, excellent problem-solving abilities, and design skills
• Excellent analytical and reasoning capabilities, with the ability to visualize processes and outcomes
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow while building world-class systems, with a solid understanding of concurrency and multi-threading
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Prior experience with high-throughput and low-latency storage, cloud computing, NoSQL databases, big data analytics, ML services, and large-scale systems is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and debug components for distributed systems operating at large scale and high speed
• Own nonfunctional requirements such as scalability, availability, and security
• Contribute to the creation of unit and integration tests, ensuring high code and functional coverage
• Develop enterprise-class documentation for both internal and external collaboration
• Break down complex tasks into manageable parts, plan, and execute effectively
• Work closely with team members to elevate technology and consistently apply best engineering practices
• Participate in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions
