Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Accredited 4-year degree in Engineering (or global equivalent).
• Experience: 15+ years of work-related experience in heavy industrial construction.
• Industry Expertise: A proven track record in Copper/Gold Concentrator projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D Model environments (Navisworks Freedom, SmartPlant, etc.) and the MS Office suite.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leadership: Supervise Engineering and Document Management teams; participate in project leadership meetings.
• Technical Support: Ensure all technical aspects of construction are satisfied and provide technical evaluation of bid proposals.
• Quality & Safety: Assist in developing the Site Quality Manual (SQM) and ensure the compliance and safe practices of all engineering staff.
• Design Integration: Manage the exchange of information between the client, design engineers, and the project team. Monitor interface tasks to ensure a “construction-driven” approach.
• Problem Solving: Interpret design documents for constructability, manage RFIs, and provide design solutions for in-field modifications.
• Program Management: Oversee the Site Pressure Testing Program and all required engineering walk-downs.
