Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

– Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
– Proven experience working as an Electromechanical Technician, preferably within the chemical manufacturing or industrial sector.
– Strong understanding of electrical systems, control circuits, mechanical components, and instrumentation.
– Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
– Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
– Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in an industrial environment.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.
– Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations if required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair on electromechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
– Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical and mechanical issues promptly to maintain production efficiency.
– Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections following company standards and safety regulations.
– Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
– Assist in upgrading and modifying existing electromechanical systems to improve performance and reliability.
