Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

– 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack software engineering roles
– A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant field
– Strong experience building and supporting production systems
– Solid backend engineering background (.NET, C#, APIs)
– Hands-on enterprise-grade modern applications with JS front ends, Event management system with Integrations and APIs orchestration
– Thorough knowledge and experience of using design patterns and the frameworks implementing them
– Extensive application of database related skills along with industry standard ORM tools within applications
– Experience with cloud and containerised environments
– Some experience with architecting complex, distributed, flexible and easy to maintain solutions
– Good understanding of OWASP Top 10 and application of secure development practices
– Practical, ownership-driven approach to design and engineering
– Sound judgement when working on live, service-critical systems

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, high-availability systems
– Own services end-to-end, from design to production support
– Improve system reliability, automation, and operational resilience
– Work closely with product and operations to translate real needs into technical solutions
– Support and mentor other engineers
