REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
Previous data entry or medical office experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with EHR systems is a plus
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent typing and data entry skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency
Reliable and professional work ethic
RESPONSIBILITIES
Enter, update, and verify patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Process intake forms, insurance information, and billing data accurately
Review documentation for completeness and correct discrepancies
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Organize and file digital and physical records as needed
Assist with generating reports for management and clinical staff
Communicate with front desk and billing departments to ensure data accuracy
Perform general administrative support tasks as assigned
