REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, English, communications, or related field.
- 1-2 years of copywriting experience (internships, freelance, agency, or in-house).
- Portfolio demonstrating writing versatility across different formats and tones.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and how copy performs across channels.
- Experience writing for video content (scripts, captions) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of brand voice development and best practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Passion for creative problem-solving and trying new things.
- Understands how to use lines to bring a strategy to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Creative Director, Senior Copywriter, Sr. Art Director, and Art Director on daily copywriting needs.
- Write copy across multiple formats including social posts, email/SMS, paid ads, web copy, retail materials, sales collateral, and video scripts.
- Participate in collaborative brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas.
- Help ideate for activations, events, partnerships, and other brand extensions.
- Learn and apply brand voice and tone guidelines consistently across all work.
- Assist with basic copy feedback for photography, video, and social content.
- Ability to give feedback to various vendors that ladders back to brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Be open to feedback and eager to iterate and improve.
