REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience as a travel agent or in a related customer service role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
– Strong knowledge of travel destinations, airlines, hotels, and other travel services
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and payments
– Proficient in using computer reservation systems and online booking platforms
– Ability to work independently
– Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and activities.
– Provide recommendations and advice on travel destinations, attractions, and local customs
– Research and gather information on travel options, such as flight schedules, hotel availability, and visa requirements
– Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners to secure the best deals and negotiate rates
– Process payments and handle booking confirmations for clients along with follow up communication on specifics about their trip
– Handle any changes or cancellations to travel plans, ensuring smooth transitions for clients
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in travel regulations
