REQUIREMENTS
- Healthcare or insurance background
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar
- Understanding of EOBs and the posting and adjustment processes
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Returns inventory back to our our client’s Health clients in a timely fashion, using the appropriate codes within the client system. Daily billing activities for closed accounts, include but are not limited to:
- Reviews account history for accuracy of work completed
- Calculates and posts appropriate adjustments in the client system
- Updates accounts appropriately following provided processes
- Maintains communication with the operations teams regarding processes, account reviews, etc.
- Works within multiple client systems
- Works daily, weekly, and monthly assigned closure WQ’s/ closure reports/ reconciliations
- Meets deadlines set for each client, which may include overtime hours worked
