REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in multi-state or large-scale environments
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paychex).
- Experience with NetSuite/Ceridian a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is highly desirable
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong degree of ownership and accountability
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience with payroll reporting and reconciliation
- Familiarity with benefits, 401K and labor law compliance
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process payroll for multiple states and countries under strict deadlines
- Reconcile payroll register, source document, and funding total each pay period
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Review and verify payroll data entries, deductions, and adjustments
- Handle complex payroll scenarios including retroactive pay, garnishments, commissions and benefits
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Support audits and regulatory filings
- Act as a point of contact for escalated payroll inquiries
