REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree required.
· Master’s degree in related field and/or CPA, CMA or potential candidate preferred.
· 2+ years experience in accounting; audit experience desired.
· SaaS accounting experience required.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Strong relationship skills with the ability to work with others at all levels.
· QuickBooks Online experience not required, but helpful.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the entire month-end close process for several companies.
· Record bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts.
· Prepare general ledger entries and maintain records and files.
· Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.
· Contribute to the development of new accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures.
· Assist with research on technical accounting issues and document findings in accounting memorandums.
· Assist with monthly intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent and subsidiaries.
· Assist with annual audit preparations and interact effectively with auditors.
· Manage corporate credit card programs.
· Be willing to step in to help with any accounting function if necessary.
· Prepare ad-hoc reports and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
