REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree required.
 2+ years in related field preferred, especially if in college admissions or sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute a comprehensive admissions recruitment strategy tailored to New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as additional territories not requiring travel, with the goal of attracting a diverse pool of prospective students.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with school counselors on behalf of  our client for the purpose of recruiting new students to the University.
• Represent our   client University at various college or career fairs, high school visits and informative programs.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of each academic program of study, as well as institutional departments and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate visit and recruiting records for all high schools in assigned territory.
• Assist prospective students through the college enrollment process via phone, text message, email, social media, and traditional mail.
• Extensive regional travel required in the fall and spring seasons, during the week and weekends, for the purposes of new student recruitment throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Work regionally with alumni for engagement and recruitment purposes.
• Travel to the Bangor campus as needed for training and special events.
• Collaborate with the admissions team to evaluate applications and make informed decisions regarding admissions.
• Adapt to changing recruitment trends and implement innovative strategies to achieve recruitment targets.
• Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.
