REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in Python and geospatial libraries such as GDAL, rasterio, NumPy.
- Strong background in satellite imagery preprocessing and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with DEM integration and RPC correction workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud-based geospatial workflows and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize large-scale geospatial data pipelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enhance and maintain existing preprocessing tools (e.g., pgc_ortho.py and related scripts) to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Implement advanced geospatial techniques including RPC (Rational Polynomial Coefficients) correction, orthorectification, and DEM-based image alignment.
- Design modular, reusable workflows that can be easily adapted for different sensors and cloud environments.
- Validate data pipelines to ensure accuracy, robustness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate workflows into larger geospatial and AI systems.
