REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience as a DBA supporting multiple RDBMS and NoSQL platforms.
- Hands-on skills in Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL, Redis, MongoDB, and Materialize
- Experience with database backup, restore, clustering, and replication.
- Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and indexing.
- Scripting and automation experience.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes/OpenShift DB operators is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, and maintain multiple database platforms (Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Materialize).
- Monitor health, performance, and availability of production and non-production databases.
- Perform upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot database errors, slow queries, deadlocks, and replication issues.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and schema design.
- Automate administrative tasks with scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible).
- Build dashboards and alerts in monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Participate in on-call support for critical database issues.
