REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in staffing, scheduling, or care coordination (home care or healthcare labour hire strongly preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills — clear, professional, and empathetic.
  • Proven ability to stay calm and organized under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency (scheduling software, CRM/ATS, EMR systems, cloud-based tools).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Knowledge of state non-medical home care rules (AZ, MA, MI) a plus (training provided).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take intake calls and complete non-clinical service assessments for new home care clients.
  • Allocate and fill labour hire requests from hospitals, aged-care facilities, and clinics by matching available RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Schedule and manage home care caregivers (companions, PCAs, HHAs) to ensure skill and availability match client needs.
  • Monitor and update daily rosters; respond quickly to last-minute changes.
  • Provide real-time support to field staff (caregivers and nurses) during shifts.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation to comply with Arizona, Massachusetts, and Michigan regulations.
  • Communicate professionally with families, caregivers, and facility contacts to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented, fast-paced environment by collaborating with fellow coordinators and management.
