REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in the tradeshow/event industry.
- Familiarity with the flooring industry or related industries is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability and willingness to learn software programs specific to the industry as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain timely and professional communication with clients.
- Provide product, price, and availability information to customers.
- Analyze market trends and sales data to adjust strategies for increased market share.
- Accurately enter and maintain records of estimates and processed orders.
- Ensure all orders include complete and accurate customer information.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements, addressing concerns proactively.
- Resolve client complaints using appropriate escalation protocols.
- Provide customers with necessary documents, such as certificates and proof of deliveries.
- Handle technical inquiries related to products and their applications.
- Exercise good judgment in interpreting instructions and evaluating alternative solutions.
- Attend scheduled product and technical training sessions.
- Perform comprehensive customer service tasks, including problem-solving and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate and explain best practices in product installation and usage.
- Understand the chain of command for problem resolution both internally and externally.
- Provide backup support to other account managers to avoid customer delays.
- Create a satisfying customer experience by personalizing service and adding value.
- Submit sales, pipeline, and projection reports.
- Deliver high-level customer service in compliance with project requirements and performance standards.
