REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service and/or sales, preferably in the tradeshow/event industry.
  • Familiarity with the flooring industry or related industries is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability and willingness to learn software programs specific to the industry as necessary.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain timely and professional communication with clients.
  • Provide product, price, and availability information to customers.
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to adjust strategies for increased market share.
  • Accurately enter and maintain records of estimates and processed orders.
  • Ensure all orders include complete and accurate customer information.
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements, addressing concerns proactively.
  • Resolve client complaints using appropriate escalation protocols.
  • Provide customers with necessary documents, such as certificates and proof of deliveries.
  • Handle technical inquiries related to products and their applications.
  • Exercise good judgment in interpreting instructions and evaluating alternative solutions.
  • Attend scheduled product and technical training sessions.
  • Perform comprehensive customer service tasks, including problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate and explain best practices in product installation and usage.
  • Understand the chain of command for problem resolution both internally and externally.
  • Provide backup support to other account managers to avoid customer delays.
  • Create a satisfying customer experience by personalizing service and adding value.
  • Submit sales, pipeline, and projection reports.
  • Deliver high-level customer service in compliance with project requirements and performance standards.
