REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required).
- Experience: Prior experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping; property management experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Sheets; familiarity with Property Matrix or AppFolio is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Independence: Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the AP Process: Oversee and execute all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time.
- Maintain Financial Accuracy: Perform reconciliations, manage bookkeeping tasks, and support accurate reporting for informed business decisions.
- Leverage Accounting Tools: Work daily with QuickBooks and Google Sheets; experience with Property Matrix or AppFolio is a strong plus.
- Work Autonomously: Manage your own workflow, take initiative, and consistently meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear, professional communication with vendors and internal team members to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth financial operations.
