• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with QuickBooks, HubSpot, or Bank of America CashPro a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reimbursements.
• Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments. Resolve discrepancies and inquiries from vendors.
• Generate customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable aging, and follow up on overdue payments. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and accounting records.
•  Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and other ad hoc financial reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
•  Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and addressing audit findings.
•  Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function. Implement best practices to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
•  Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and operations to address financial issues, provide support, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
