REQUIREMENTS

  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience required
  • HOA/property management accounting experience preferred
  • Understanding of fund accounting or willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with CINC, or Buildium software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and reliability

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform month-end closing procedures for multiple associations
  • Reconcile operating and reserve bank accounts
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and fund activity reports
  • Review financials for accuracy prior to Board distribution
  • Post accruals, prepaids, and reserve transfers including journal entries
  • Ensure consistency across associations (chart of accounts, documentation, etc.)
  • Collaborate with data-entry staff to resolve discrepancies
