Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive network monitoring solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, network security, and compliance frameworks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop a solution that tracks network usage, ensures adherence to policies, and supports data privacy regulations. This is a remote, contract position of 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design scalable and secure architecture for monitoring network usage across the organization.
- Define the technical roadmap and select appropriate tools and technologies for implementation.
- Implement solutions to capture and analyze network traffic.
- Maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of logging and monitoring tools to enhance visibility and compliance.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure the monitoring solution meets regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, software development, or network security.
- Experience with python for developing network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, packet analysis, deep packet inspection, and traffic monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Fiddler, Charles Proxy, Tcpdump).
- Experience working with Elasticsearch.
- Deep understanding of SSL/TLS handshake process, cipher suites, key exchange mechanisms, and certificate authorities and certificate management.
- Proven experience designing and implementing monitoring solutions in complex environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
