Job Overview
We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Solution Architect (SCM) to guide our clients through complex Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, customer engagement, and project delivery capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in architecting solutions, leading implementation teams, and ensuring our services meet and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Implementations: Direct end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations projects, from pre-sales demonstrations and requirement gathering through to solution design, system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
- Solution Design and Architecture: Architect solutions that are scalable and robust, integrating Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems as required. Ensure the solution meets all business and technical requirements while adhering to best practices.
- Client Engagement and Advisory: Serve as the primary liaison with client stakeholders, understanding their business needs and delivering solutions that align with their strategic objectives. Build and maintain strong client relationships to become a trusted advisor.
- Project Leadership and Team Management: Manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets. Lead and mentor teams, ensuring high levels of performance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Technical Documentation and Compliance: Produce detailed documentation including design documents, test scenarios, and deployment guides. Ensure all project deliverables meet compliance and quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on new features and enhancements within the Dynamics 365 platform and related technologies, translating this knowledge into improved solutions and practices
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in management, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or Information Technology.
- Certification: Certified Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert or similar. Willingness to pursue further certification as needed.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in ERP, with at least 7+ years dedicated to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Documented success in at least five large-scale, full-lifecycle Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain, and Retail modules. Skilled in Success by Design & Microsoft Sure Step methodology and familiar with Life Cycle Services (LCS).
- Cross-Functional Knowledge: Experience with Manufacturing, AWMS, Landed Cost Management, PMA, HR/Payroll, and Power Platform modules will be advantageous
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to lead complex projects and make informed decisions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and client executives.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams, driving them to deliver exceptional results.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to adjust to changing priorities and client needs activity
