JOB DETAILS
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare or claim processing experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand process flows and procedures
- Willingness to work a five-day schedule, with flexibility for additional hours as needed
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and operate computers and phones to perform job duties
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the shared inbox, mail, and fax communications; route claims and messages appropriately and ensure timely task completion.
- Review insurance documents for accuracy and completeness, obtaining missing information as needed.
- Support the clinical department through claim routing, finalization, and documentation.
- Communicate updates for provider/client contact information to Account Managers.
- Research claim-related inquiries and route them to the appropriate team members.
- Support a culture that is consistent with 6 Degrees Health values and beliefs
- Works collaboratively with other departments to provide updates on claims status
- Work collaboratively with the Claims Team to identify process gaps and improve procedures
- Other responsibilities or projects as assigned
