Asset Integrity & Corrosion Engineer
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
- Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Pipeline Integrity or Corrosion will be considered.
- Understanding of pipeline integrity and corrosion mechanisms.
- Candidate preference Cathodic Protection Technologist (CP2) or higher.
- Proficient computer skill in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- At least 50% of time office setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support AFS Field Technicians on pipeline integrity and corrosion projects and field gathering.
- Perform pipeline integrity and corrosion project field data gathering as needed.
- Responsible for reports, including data analysis, and recommendations.
- Adhere to AFS and/or client field operations procedures.
- Work with Project Management Team to ensure timely coordination of field projects.
- Ensure field work and data meet client specifications and communicate accordingly.
- Prioritize and plan work activities using time efficiently.
- Collaborate with Audubon Business Development Team to respond to RFP’s. Support proposal and estimating activities including labor & equipment cost estimates and schedule development.
- Provide mentoring and support development/training activities for technical and non-technical personnel.
- Perform corrosion and integrity management engineering. Support field corrosion / integrity techs as needed.
